Dublin’s Senior Footballers face Westmeath tonight for a chance of some early silverware in the O’Byrne Cup Final

O'Byrne Cup Live Updates

Dublin v Westmeath
Friday, January 18th. 8:00pm
Parnell Park

Another massive crowd is expected to descend on Parnell Park tonight as Paul Clarke will hope to guide his experimental Dublin side to O’Byrne Cup victory over Westmeath.

Tonight’s decider sees Westmeath back on the final stage bidding for their first success in the competition since 1988. Jack Cooney’s team have hit the ground running early and will have no issue with heading to Parnell Park as outsiders against a Dublin side which has been going with its third string in these early weeks of the New Year.

Paul Clarke steered a different experimental outfit to victory on this stage two years ago and he’s fancied to do the same again on home turf here.

Dublin have named an unchanged 15 from the team that beat Meath a week ago on penalties in the Semi Final.
