Allianze NFL Final Live Updates

Dublin v Galway
Sunday, April 1st. 4:00pm
Croke Park, Dublin

If there’s one thing we know not to be an April fools gag, its the Allianz NFL League Division 1 title is up for grabs this afternoon, and we’ll keep the updates coming as the action happens. Dublin have reached their sixth consecutive final, and will look to take the crown back to the capital for hopefully the not so unlucky thirteenth time in their history. As beaten finalists last year Dublin will want nothing more than to get their hands back on the Irish National Insurance Cup before starting preperations for this year’s Championship campaign.

For their opponents Galway, this will be their tenth final appearance, their most recent being 2006 when they were runners up to Kerry. The Tribesmen have defied the odds as a newly promoted side to Division 1 this year, finishing unbeaten in their seven round games, and today is a massive game in the county’s history. On top of that Galway held the Dubs to a draw in Salthill on St. Patrick’s weekend, so they’ll feel confident coming to Croke Park.

Both counties have named strong teams for today’s fixture and we may see some of the fireworks between the two sides like we witnessed in Pearse Stadium two weeks ago.

We’ll be live from the 4:00pm throw in at Croke Park with score by score updates on And you can find all the post match reports and analysis from the game right here and on
