Will this be another classic All Ireland Senior Football Semi Final between Dublin and Kerry this afternoon?

All Ireland Senior Football Semi Final - Live Updates

Dublin v Kerry
Sunday, July 10th. 3:30pm
Croke Park, Dublin

Expectations always seem to rise higher when Dublin and Kerry lock horns at the business end of the All Ireland Senior Football Championship. And today should, on paper, be no different. We’ve witnessed some of the greatest games of all time when the Munster and Leinster giants go toe to toe. And with Croke Park sold out once again, this will hopefully be a melting pot to remember.

Dublin saw off Cork after cruising through another Leinster Championship, while Kerry too had a relatively straight forward Munster Championship run before beating Mayo to advance to this afternoon’s clash. It’s 2014 since the Sam Maguire resided in Kerry, with Dublin unseated by Mayo last year after reigning supreme for 6 years up to 2020.

Galway overcame Derry in the first of the Semi Finals yesterday, and will be waiting in the wings for their first All Ireland Final appearance since they lifted Sam in 2001.

The disappointment this afternoon will be the absence of tallisman Con O’Callaghan, who has been a driving force for Dublin through their provincial run. But fans will hope James McCarthy being named in Dublin’s reserves will see the Ballymun star spring into action to aid the cause against a very strong Kerry side.
