Dublin v Tipperary – 1:00pm (Allianz NHL Division Quarter Final)
Dublin v Monaghan – 3:00pm (Allianz NFL Round 7)

It’s an absolutely massive afternoon for Dublin in Croke Park as both the Senior Hurlers and Footballers will compete in their respective Allianz League competitions.

To open proceedings, Pat Gilroy’s Senior Hurlers will take on Tipperary in the Division 1 Quarter Final. It’s been a very mixed campaign for the Dubs, and today will be a very strong test. A win will see them into the competition’s Semi Final stage and a match against Limerick next Saturday. Should they be unsuccessful they will start preparing for their Leinster Championship opener against Kilkenny in seven weeks time.

Then at 3:00pm Jim Gavin’s Senior Football panel will play out their final round game against Monaghan. The boys in blue have already qualified for the Division 1 Final, which is against Galway next weekend, and this is good opportunity for the Dublin boss to take another look at some of his fringe players ahead of that game and the beginning of the 2018 Championship.

Don’t forget there is no live TV coverage of the Dublin v Monaghan, only deferred coverage later this evening on TG4.
