    Littlewoods Ireland NCL Division 2
    Dublin v Armagh

    Sunday, April 8th. 2:00pm
    National Sports Campus, Abbottstown

A big game for Shane Plowman’s Premier Junior Camogie panel this afternoon as they welcome Armagh to Abbottstown.

This Dublin’s final round game in this year’s Littlewoods Ireland National League Division 2 competition. The girls are currently sitting in third place in the Group 2 table. A win today would see them leapfrog Tipperary, who have completed all their games, and into a knockout qualifying slot, assuming the unbeaten Kilkenny beat Laois and stay top of the table.

Dublin have beaten Tipperary, Kildare and Laois to date, with draws against Kilkenny and Derry, which has been an amazing campaign, their first in Division 2 having clinched the Division 3 title. A win today to secure a knockout berth next weekend would be the icing on the cake for the Premier Juniors on the first time of asking.

Laois could potentially upset Dublin’s plans, if they can beat Kilkenny this afternoon and Armagh next week. But that’s only if Armagh can get a result against the Dubs this afternoon. Laois wouldn’t qualify themselves, but would have done enough to leave Tipperary safe.
