The showers continue to fall across the city but thankfully it hasn’t affected the action tonight in the Senior Camogie League. 22 teams were out tonight participating in 11 league games from Inter 1 to Junior 1. Let’s bring you all the details from all the games.

Inter 1 League, Round 5

Ballyboden St. Endas B 3-05 Naomh Peregrine 1-15
Erins Isle 5-11 Naomh Fionnbarra 3-06
Na Fianna 3-06 Naomh Brid 1-04

Naomh Peregrine and Erins Isle have leapfrogged Ballyboden St.Endas at the top of the Inter 1 table following tonight’s results. Last week Boden were held to a draw, and this week Peregrines were victorious by 1-15 to 3-05. Erins Isle also picked up valuable points tonight beating Naomh Fionnbarra by 5-11 to 3-06.

Elsewhere Na Fianna picked up their first win in the competition, bagging a 3-06 to 1-04 victory over Naomh Brid. The game between Clanna Gael/Fontenoy and Thomas Davis was abandoned but will be rescheduled for a later date.

Inter 2 League, Round 3

Naomh Padraig 2-14 Crumlin 2-05
St. Vincents C 1-04 Faughs/Celtic B 2-14
Whitehall Colmcille 1-05 CBC/Portobello 2-18

Naomh Padraig continue their unbeaten run tonight, and end Crumlin’s as the two teams at the top of the table went head to head. Nine points seperated them at the final whistle with Naomh Padraig winning 2-14 to 2-05. CBC/Portobello picked up two valuable points tonight in their 2-18 to 1-05 win over Whitehall Colmcille.

And in the other Inter 2 game, Faughs/Celtic B got their first win of the competition tonight. Their 2-14 to 1-04 victory over St. Vincents C lift them off the bottom of the table and above Whitehall and Naomh Olaf.

Junior 1 League, Round 3
Group 1

Erins Isle B 0-05 Kilmacud Crokes B 8-08

In tonight’s only game in Group 1 of the Junior 1 competition, Kilmacud Crokes are now two points clear at the top of the table. They won a comfortable fixture against Erins Isle B this evening with final score at 8-08 to 0-05. Ballinteer St. Johns and Naomh Barrog will play their Round 3 game this Sunday.

Group 2

Naomh Jude B 0-03 Raheny 3-09
Skerries Harps 2-07 Good Counsel 0-06
St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh 4-11 Naomh Mearnog B 6-02

Good Counsel lose their hold at the top of the table after tonight’s results. Their defeat to Skerries Harps sees them drop to third spot. Skerries were 2-07 to 0-06 winners tonight. In addition Raheny were 3-09 to 0-03 victors over Naomh Jude B, which sees them overtake Counsel in the table.

In the final game of the night St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh got their second win of the competition with a 4-11 to 6-02 victory over Naomh Mearnog B. That puts them equal on points with Ballyboden. Naomh Mearnog and Naomh Jude are yet to register a win after three rounds.
