Another 11 games throw in tomorrow night in the We Are Dublin Senior Camogie League

Senior Camogie League

We’re well passed the half way stage in all of the camogie leagues with games throwing in tomorrow night. The Inter 1 League enters Round 6 with four rounds to go. Inter 2 goes into Round 4 but it’s shorter competition os it will end around the same time as the Inter 1 League. And over the 2 groups in the Junior 1 League we reach the second last round tomorrow night.

Inter 1 League, Round 6

With Clanna Gael/Fontenoy conceding their fixture tomorrow night against Naomh Peregrine, it give’s Peregrines the top spot, even if only for one night. Erins Isle are sitting just below them and can go level should they beat Thomas Davis. Thomas Davis have yet to win one of their games to date and will be hoping they don’t fall to the Isles tomorrow. Ballyboden St. Endas B can still make a claim at the top, but they’ll need a result over Lucan Sarsfield B to stay in the hunt. Naomh Fionbarra will be desperate for another 2 points as they face Na Fianna B.

Inter 2 League, Round 4

Second placed CBC/Portobello and Crumlin will be looking to close the gap on Naomh Padraig tomorrow night. Crumlin head to St. Vincents c, who are on 2 points from a possible 6. CBC/Portobello are off to Naomh Olaf, with Olafs still seeking their first win. Whitehall have the unenviable task of facing the league leaders tomorrow night, but are also desperate for a win in the league.

Junior 1 League, Round 4

Group 1

It’s the penultimate round in Junior 1 and in Group 1 there’s a clear leader. Kilmacud Crokes B are three for three, but tomorrow night they sit it out in their bye week. Ballinteer St. Johns, Naomh Maur and Erins Isle are all neck and neck in the table.

Maurs and Ballinteer will go head to head tomorrow so somthing has to give. Elsewhere Erin’s Isle head for Naomh Barrog. Barrog are three losses from three games with time running out.

Group 2

Raheny and Skerries Harps share the top spot in Group 2. They head to Naomh Mearnog B and Naomh Jude B respectively tomorrow night. Both Mearnogs and Judes are at the bottom of the group with no wins between them. In the final game of the round Good Counsel B will take on St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh. Both these sides are on four league points and can catch the top with the right result.

All games are scheduled for tomorrow evening, May 2nd with 7:15pm throw in times. All fixtures are correct at the time of this post, but may be subject to change.
