Another eleven games tomorrow night in the We Are Dublin Senior Camogie League
Games Throw In Thursday, April 25th 2019
We roll on into Thursday and it’s the turn of both the Inter 1 and 2, and Junior 1 divisions in this year’s We Are Dublin GAA Senior Camogie League. The Inter 1 League reaches Round 5, Inter 2 goes into Round 3, and both groups in the Junior 1 competition head into Round 3. Some big games throwing in. Here’s everything you need to know.
Inter 1 League, Round 5
Ballyboden St. Endas and Naomh Peregrine are only seperated by one point at the top of the league table, and tomorrow’s game could go either way. Both sides are unbeaten but Ballyboden have played one more game, and last weeks draw with Naomh Brid saw them drop vital points. Peregrines come into this game on three wins from three.
Erins Isle are in the same position as Peregrines and they could be in a really good position tomorrow night should they win their game against Naomh Fionnbarra. Finbars are still only on one win from four games and can strengthen their position should they get a win. Na Fianna face Naomh Brid in this round and the girls from Mobhi Road could do with a win to get them off the bottom of the table, but Brigids have only lost one game so far and will be a tough challenge. Elsewhere Clanna Gael/Fontenoy and Thomas Davis will go head to head both without a win to date.
Inter 2 League, Round 3
Another top of the table clash happening tomorrow night as Naomh Padraig take on Crumlin in the Inter 2 league. Crumlin sqeezed by Faughs/Celtic in the opening round by a score in a 5-11 to 5-10 cracker. They made an easier run in the last round against Naomh Olaf. Naomh Padraig have had two comfortable wins against Olafs and St. Vincents.
Faughs, who are yet the get a win will play St. Vincents C, who are holding well below the top two. And Whitehall Colmcille will welcome CBC/Portobello, still looking for their first win.
Junior 1 League, Round 3
Erins Isle will look to make some ground at the top of the table tomorrow night as they face leaders Kilmacud Crokes. Should Isles win they can go level with Crokes ahead of Round 4. The only other game in this round is between Ballinteer St. Johns and Naomh Barrog, and that’s now scheduled for Sunday, April 28th.
There’s really nothing between Good Counsel, Skerries and Raheny in Group 2, and Counsel will look to extend their lead in the table tomorrow night, But Skerries might have other ideas. Raheny can also make up some ground as they head for Naomh Jude. Judes still looking for their first win having lost both their first two games.
Elsewhere St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh will go head to head Naomh Mearnog in the last game of the group.
