Nine games tomorrow night in the We Are Dublin Senior Camogie League
Thursday, May 16th 2019
We see some crunch games take place tomorrow. And some of them could change the layout of Inter 1, Inter 2 and Junior 1 Camogie League. There are 2 rounds to go in both Inter 1 and 2 but with a threw way tie at the top of Inter 2, it’s all to play for. And with only two games left to play in Group 2 of the Junior 1 League, we could see the top of the table change completely.
Inter 1 League, Round 8
With two rounds to go, Erins Isle hold pole position in this division having gone six for six. A win tomorrow night would almost guarantee them the title. They’ll have to contend with a trip to Lucan Sarsfield B in this round, and Lucan won’t make it easy for them. Naomh Peregrine and Na Fianna are only seperated by two points and their game tonight could see Na Fianna take second position on score difference.
Ballyboden St. Endas B and Naomh Brid are tied on 7 points. They play Clanna Gael/Fontenoy and Thomas Davis respectively tomorrow night.
Inter 2 League, Round 6
CBC/Portobello, Naomh Padraig and Crumlin all sit at the top of Inter 2 on 8 points. So the race to the Inter 2 title is wide open with two rounds to go. Crumlin and CBC square off tomorrow night, with Naomh Padraig facing Faughs/Celtic B. This will be Crumlin’s last game as they finish the league on a bye so they’ll be keen to grab their last 2 points and wait for the outcome of the final round.
Junior 1 League, Group 2
Raheny B are in the hot seat in this group in Junior 1. But they only sit 1 point above St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh B and Good Counsel B and 2 points above Skerries. There are two knockout spots to play for and it comes down to the game between between Plunketts and Skerries.
Should Plunketts they take the top spot over Raheny by a single points. But if Skerries win, then they leapfrog both Plunketts and Good Counsel B to take the second slot in the knockouts. Raheny are through it’s just a matter of where they finish.
