Before we head to Croke Park for the TG4 Senior Football Championship Semi Finals we’ve got some results to being you. This morning saw the start of this years We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Adult Championships. And today the Senior 1 Championship took centre stage.

Four games threw in for Round 1 of the County Camogie competition with the eight top flight teams taking part. Reigning Champions Naomh Jude picked up where they left off last year with a massive 5-16 to 1-01 win over newcomers Faughs/Celtic. Judes will face stiffer competition next week as they travel to Ballyboden St. Endas for Round 2. Faughs will look to bounce back as they make the trip to Skerries.

Last years Runners Up Na Fianna entertained a good crowd in Mobhi Road. And they got their first win, beating Skerries Harps by 1-18 to 1-03. Next up for the girls from Mobhi Road is another home tie against Ballinteer St. Johns next week. Skerries will be at home for their game against Faughs.

Lucan Sarsfield got their campaign up and running with a 2-06 to 0-05 victory over Ballinteer. They’ll be happy with the two points ahead of their home tie next week against St. Vincents. Ballinteer have it all to do against Na Fianna next Sunday morning.

Finally St. Vincents start their 2019 championship campaign off with a win, recording another victory over Ballyboden St. Endas. It’s a trip to Lucan next weekend with Boden welcoming the reigning champions Naomh Jude.
