Junior Championship

Massive congratulations to Castleknock B who battled their way to a Junior Championship title in tonights We Are Dublin GAA Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships. Plenty of action tonight despite a little rain. But here are all the results.

Junior 2 Championship

Despite a little wind and rain tonight in Abbotstown, Castleknock B prevailed to lift this year’s Junior 2 Championship title. In a very close game against Good Counsel B, the girls from Castleknock just seemed to have the edge for the entire game. Counsel to their credit never gave up, and in the end it was only Eimear Stynes second half goal that seperated the sides at Full Time.

Huge congratulations to Castleknock on their Championship win.

In the Shield Semi It’s Raheny B who advance to the decider with their 3-11 to 1-06 win over Naomh Jude B tonight. They now have to wait until September 15th to see who they’ll meet when Skerries Harps B and St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh B go head to head.

Junior 3 Championship

We knew tonight would be interesting in Group 1 of the Junior 3 Championship. Naomh Brid B were victorious against St. Finians to move to the top of the group table on 4-09 to 1-05 scoreline. But Finians still have one game to play sop we’re not finished just yet.

They face Setanta on Thursday in a rescheduled game to complete to Round Robin phase. But Setanta did themselves a favour tonight beating Lucan Sarsfield C by 7-09 to 5-07. So this Thursday’s game is a must win for both Finians and Setanta for a qualifying spot.

In the other group game Kilmacud Crokes C ran out 6-13 to 0-03 winners over Na Gaeil Oga.

In Group 2, Cuala B complete a 100% round robin with a 2-13 to 2-02 win over Commercials tonight to top the group and advance to the Semi Finals. And they’re joined by Ballyboden St. Endas C who tonight beat Naomh Mearnog by 6-10 to 1-01

Junior Championship

Junior 4 Championship

A 5-15 to 2-08 win over Beann Eadair tonight sees St. Annes complete an unbeaten run to finish top of Group 1 in the Junior 4 competition. And they’ll be joined by Cuala C in the last four as Cuala were 3-03 to 0-01 winners tonight over Ballinteer St. Johns C. On any other night Ballyboden St. Endas 7-09 to 2-00 win over Wild Geese would have secured a knock out slot, but Cuala’s score difference was more superior.

In Group 2 Round Towers completed a five win streak tonight. Beating Lucan Sarsfield D by 2-11 to 1-05 sees them command the top spot in the group and advance. Faughs/Celtic C look like taking that second slot after beating Erins Isle C tonight by 3-09 to 1-01. And Naomh Peregrine B finish their campaign with a 6-20 to 2-04 win over Na Fianna D
