Three Junior Champions crowned this week in this year’s We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships

Junior 1 Championship Final
Whitehall Colmcille 3-08 Kilmacud Crokes B 4-03

Six games unbeaten saw Whitehall Colmcille lift the Dublin Junior 1 Camogie title on Monday night in Bray Emmetts in this year’s Adult Club Championships. A 100% record completed with their second victory over Kilmacud Crokes this year. And a result that was certainly tighter that the Round 3 game that saw Whitehall run out 7-13 to 2-03 winners.

Kilacud Crokes had earned their spot on Monday night coming out of Group 1 behind Whitehall and beating Group 2 winners Naomh Maur by an impressive 5-10 t 3-08.

Whitehall’s Semi Final was against Group 2 runners up St. Vincents C, and they carved out a 2-10 to 1-01 win to make Monday’s Final.

Congratulations to Whitehall Colmcille, crowned Dublin Junior 1 Champions and are promoted to next year’s Inter 2 Championship

Adult Club Championships - Castleknock

Junior 3 Championship Final
Castleknock B 3-11 Naomh Brid B 0-07

Congratulations to Castleknock who were crowned Junior 3 Champions on Tuesday, earning a spot in the Junior 2 Championship in 2020. Their 3-11 to 0-07 win over Naomh Brid saw them complete seven games unbeaten. After finishing top of Group 1 they held Commercials to one score in their Semi Final, running out 5-10 to 0-01 winners

To Naomh Brid’s credit, they too had an unbeaten run throught the Group 2 competition, and pipped St. Finians to a victory by one score in their last four clash.

Good Counsel 0-08 Naomh Barrog 1-06

One score seperated Good Counsel B and Naomh Barrog last night in the Junior 2 Final. And it’s Naomh Barrog who take the spoils as they set their sights on the Junior 1 Championship next year.

Adult Club Championships - Naomh Barrog

Both sides came out of the Group 1 competition in first and second place and manouvered their way through the Semi Finals. Good Counsel were three point winners over Na Fianna C, while Barrog saw off St. Vincents D by thirteen points.

When they met in Round 2 Barrog dominated that game winning by 4-06 to 0-02. But last night Counsel’s fighting spirit got them within a point of the eventual champions.
