We are literally now on the home stretch in this year’s We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships. And once again today there were a raft of games across the competition with some big results.
Senior 2 Semi Final
Congratulations to Kilmacud Crokes who defeated Good Counsel in the second of this year’s Senior 2 Camogie Semi Finals. That win sees Crokes continue their unbeaten rub and now face St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh in the Championship Final. Back in Round 2 it was victory for Kilmacud over Plunketts but the stakes are certainly a lot higher for the last game of the competition.
Inter 1 Shield Final
in an enthralling contest earlier today, Naomh Padraig were crowned Inter 1 Shield winners following their 5-17 to 4-14 win over Naomh Fionnbarra. Pats edged the game out in Extra Time to clinch victory.
Inter 2 Semi Finals
CBC/Portobello and Crumlin have qualified for the Inter 2 Camogie Final after their respective wins in today’s Semi Finals.
CBC/Portobello continue their winning streak with 1-11 to 0-07 victory over Lucan Sarsfield B, while Crumlin were 0-14 to 1-07 winners over Clann na Gael in the second of today’s last four ties.
The very best of luck to both CBC/Portobello and Crumlin in the upcoming Inter 2 Final
Junior 1 Semi Final
Like their Senior team mates, Kilmacud Crokes B advance to the Junior 1 Camogie Final to face Whitehall Colmcille. they face Naomh Maur earlier today and ran out 5-10 to 3-08 winners in a very exciting match up. They’ll face a tough challenge when they meet Whitehall in the Junior 1 decider.
Junior 2 Semi Finals
The Junior 2 Camogie Championship is now down to the final two teams. Good Counsel B and Naomh Barrog defeated Na Fianna C and St. Vincents D respectively today to qualify for the championship decider.
Junior 3 Semi Finals
Castleknock B are now six wins from six games following their 5-10 to 0-01 win in today’s Junior 3 Semi Final against Commercials. And they’ll now face Naomh Brid B who captured a one point win over St. Finians to advance to the championship decider.
Elsewhere in the Junior 3 competition Cuala B finished their Round Robin phase with a 1-09 to 2-05 win over Setanta.
Junior 4 Final
Massive congratulations to Na Gaeil Oga who were crowned Junior 4 Camogie champions today. Both Oga and Lucan Sarsfield D were unbeaten heading into today’s Final, but a powerful Oga registered 9-11 to comfortably clinch the Junior 4 crown.
Junior 4 Shield
Ballyboden St. Endas D booked their place in the Junior 4 Shield Final with a 2-08 to 2-00 win over Cuala C. That win means they’ll face Na Fianna D in the Shield Final to end their 2019 Championship
