We really are getting into the nutty gritty in this years We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships. And tomorrow we should have another batch of games to enjoy, provided this rain passes and the pitches across the county hold up. So let’s get you all the details.

Senior 1

It really is all to play for tomorrow in the Senior 1 Camogie competition. After some results last week it changed the table and opened up the competition. But barring any major upsets in the last round the top four seems quite clear.

With St. Vincents heading for Faughs/Celtic tomorrow and Ballyboden St. Endas entertaining Ballinteer St. Johns have already qualified for the Semi Finals. Last year’s Champions Naomh Jude are also safe as they head take on Skerries Harps in the morning.

The game of the round though will be between Lucan Sarsfield and Na Fianna. With one remaining Semi Final slot to play for the winner of this game will snatch it. For Lucan a draw would be enough to see them through, but Na Fianna must come away with a win. Otherwise its the end of their season.

Inter 1 Semi Finals

After five rounds Castleknock came out of Group 1 unbeaten. And even if any of the other sides in the group got close, the eighteen goals and fifty four points that they registered would have still got them out on top. Their opponents in tomorrow’s last four clash are St. Vincents B.

Vins only lost once, to Erins Isle in the opening round of Group 2. But victories over Naomh Padraig and Ballyboden St. Endas B in the other two games saw them secure second place. Castleknock might stand as tough opposition tomorrow but Vins will be up for the challenge.

Erins Isle finished above Vincents in the table, completing three successful wins in the Round Robin. And they’ll relish tomorrow’s game against Group 1 runners up Naomh Brid.

Naomh Brid finished above Naomh Peregrine in the table. Peregrines put in a massive shift in their last round game with Na Fianna B, but Brigid’s score difference was far superior, giving them the edge.

Inter 2 Round 5

In the final round of this competition, leaders CBC/Portobello will face second placed Clann na Gael tomorrow. CBC are unbeaten, and if they finish that way tomorrow that could open a door for Crumlin to steal second position. Crumlin Thomas Davis, who have yet to register a win in the competition. They also have to play rescheduled Round 4 game against Clann na Gael. So the pressure is on Clann na Gael.

Junior 1 Round 5

Barring a major disaster Whitehall Colmcille should finish at the top of the Group 1 table. They face Erins Isle B tomorrow, with Isles sitting in third in the table behind Kilmacud Crokes B.

Crokes should pick up the points tomorrow against Naomh Jude B, but if they don’t Erins Isle could leapfrog them should the bag a win.

In Group 2 its a dead heat in the top three positions. Naomh Maur, St. Vincents C and Ballinteer St. Johns B are all on four championship points. Vincents and Ballinteer will pose as each other’s opponents tomorrow with Maurs heading to St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh B. Maurs also have the advantage of a rescheduled fixture against Raheny B to play which would see them finish top should they win both games.
