Five games tonight in the We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships. Inter 1 and Junior 1 competitions being the focus. So let’s get into it.

Inter 1

Naomh Fionnbarra are up and running in the Inter 1 Camogie Championship. And it will be a welcome two points following their Round 1 2-19 to 1-06 loss to Castleknock. They’ll need to wait for the other round games to be played on Sunday to see where it leaves them but it will most certainly see them off the bottom of the table.

Junior 1

With Whitehall Colmcille on a bye it gave Kilmacud Crokes B the perfect opportunity to hit the top of the table. And they didn’t disappoint. They came out the winners in a thirteen goal thriller tonight against Faughs/Celtic B with a final score of 8-11 to 5-07.

Crokes and Whitehall next week has the makings of a huge fixture.

Two goals seperated Naomh Jude B and Erins Isle B after tonight Group 1 match. It gives Isles their first win from two games with Judes still waiting for their first after their Round 1 bye. Next week it’s a bye for Erins Isle with Judes heading heading for Faughs.

Naomh Maur come bouncing into Round 2 after their bye with a massive 8-14 to 2-06 win over Ballinteer St. Johns B. Ballinteer had picked up points against Plunketts last week but will need to regroup in their bye week. Maur head for Raheny next week.

Raheny B suffered their second loss tonight against St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh B. Plunketts goals were the difference in this game with the final score 4-03 to 1-03.

The means St. Vincents C, Ballinteer, Maur and Plunketts are all on two points after two rounds.

Don’t forget we’ll have more action this weekend as there are more Adult Club fixtures across the Senior, Inter and Junior competitions this Sunday.
