The Senior 2 and Junior competitions are shaping up after tonights games in the We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships

Adult Club Championships

Plenty of Camogie action against tonight fifteen games across Senior 2 and three of the Junior Championships. Plenty of details to bring you. Let’s get into it.

Senior 2

Good Counsel and Kilmacud Crokes share the top spot in the We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Senior 2 Championship after tonights round games. After convincingly beating Raheny in Round 1, Good Counsel entertained Cuala at home and again took the game to their opponents. Counsel finished on a 3-16 to 1-08 winning scoreline.

Kilmacud Crokes also finished tonight two for two. They followed their Round 1 win over Cuala with a 4-15 to 1-13 victory over St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh.

Naomh Mearnog made some ground tonight on the leaders as they travelled to St. Anne’s Park to face a struggling Raheny. And Mearnog’s came away with the two points on a 4-17 to 3-06 scoreline.

Junior 2

Just like Senior 2, we have two teams level at the top of the Junior 2 table. Another four goals again tonight for Naomh Barrog, just like against St. Vincents D last week. Tonight they registered a 4-06 to 0-02 winning scoreline over opponents Good Counsel B.

Skerries Harps too share the top spot, beating Na Fianna C by 4-08 to 2-05. Unfortunately for Na Fianna that’s their second defeat on the bounce as they head for St. Vincents next week.

St. Vincents recorded a massive 7-09 to 2-05 over Naomh Mearnog B this evening, handing Mearnog their second defeat.

Junior 3

Castleknock B are the only team so far in Group 1 with a 100% record. A 6-10 to 2-02 win over Cuala B this evening adds two more points to the opening win over St. Finians last week. Finians did record their first win tonight, beating Setanta by 2-18 to 1-05.

Faughs/Celtic C got their first win in the competition, successfully beating Kilmacud Crokes C by 4-05 to 3-06 in a tight game.

In Group 2 Naomh Bri B hold the top spot after their second successive win. A 2-09 to 1-04 score over Ballyboden St. Endas C tonight adds two point to their first round win over Erins Isle C.

Five points seperated Lucan Sarsfield C and St. Anne’s tonight with Lucan winning by 0-08 to 0-03.

In the other game of the group Commercials gave Erins Isle B their second defeat, winning by 3-07 to 0-01.

Junior 4

Naomh Peregrine C are two for two after their victory over Wild Geese this evening. Ballyboden St. Endas D bagged their first win tonight over Ballinteer St. John C.

Only one game in Group 2 tonight as Na Gaeil Oga scored nine goals in their 9-16 to 1-01 win over Na Fianna D. That puts Oga level at the top of the table Round Tower, who win their opening game and takes conceded points from Naomh Padraig B.
