Senior 2 and Junior Competitions take centre stage tomorrow night in the We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships

Adult Club Championships

Tuesday, September 10th 2019

It’s All Ireland Final week. The Senior Men will go at it one more time against Kerry this Saturday in the hope of making history and capturing the five in a row. And the Senior Ladies have the chance to lift their third consecutive All Ireland should they see off Galway on Sunday.

Saturday just gone we had some cracking action in the We Are Dublin GAA / Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championship with three huge Senior 1 games and two games in the Inter 1 competition.

Tomorrow night sees more Adult Club Championships action shift to the Senior 2 Championship and also the Junior 2, 3 and 4 competitions.

Senior 2

Good Counsel started their championship off to a winning start with huge 4-12 to 0-07 victory over Raheny. And tomorrow they’ll look to continue that form as they welcome Cuala to home turf. Cuala sadly lost their opening game to Kilmacud Crokes and will be hoping to bounce back.

Kilmacud head for St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh tomorrow their their eye on the top spot. Plunketts are sitting there at the moment having played one more game, but last week’s draw with Naomh Mearnog saw them drop a point.

Mearnogs could pick up the slack tomorrow as they face Raheny with Raheny also looking for a win.

Junior 2

Skerries, Good Counsel B and Naomh Barrog all bagged opening day wins last week and will all want to keep that momentum going. Counsel and Barrog square off against each other with Skerries heading for Na Fianna C.

Naomh Mearnog B and St. Vincents D go head to head, both coming into tomorrow with a loss in the opening round.

In Group 2 Ballyboden C and Naomh Brid B both recorded opening round wins and now they face each other in Round 2. Erins Isle C, who lost to Brigids welcome Commercials.

St. Anne’s who are still looking for points in the table will entertain Lucan Sarsfield C.

Junior 4
