Plenty of action again tomorrow night in the Junior section of the We Are Dublin GAA Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships

We Are Dublin GAA Dublin Camogie Adult Club Championships
Junior 2 Semi Finals
We’ve reached the last four in the Junior 2 Championship. And tomorrow night those four sides will compete for a place in the grades decider. In Group 1 Castleknock B finished their round robin campaign unbeaten in three games. Naomh Jude B, Skerries Harps B and Na Fianna C all fell to Castleknock as the secured the maximum points to top the group.
Tomorrow night the face Whitehall Colmcille who were runners up in Group 2 on score difference. They, along with Raheny and St. Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh B all registered one win each, but it was Whitehall’s score difference that got them across the line.
In the second of tomorrow night’s Semi Finals Good Counsel B will take on Na Fianna C for a place in the final. Like Castleknock, Counsel defeated all comers over three group games to finish in pole position in Group 2. Group 1 runners up Na Fianna C only dropped points to Castleknock last week but had still done enough in the earlier rounds to qualify.
As we head into Round 4 in the Junior 3 Group 1 competition, everything is still to play for. Lucan Sarsfield C are currently topping the group on 5 points, and tomorrow they face St. Finians who sit just below them in the table. We could have a new group leader tomorrow night before the final round.
Naomh Brid B are also still in contention as they welcome Kilmacud Crokes C for tomorrow’s Round 4 clash. A win for Brigids would see them in a solid position ahead of the final round. Setanta have an outside chance of qualifying. They sit on 3 points in the table but a win tomorrow against Na Gaeil Oga before the face Lucan in the last round could make for an interesting finish.
With games postponed last week in Group 2, tomorrow night is chance for those games to be rescheduled in the smaller group. And after winning their opening round games, Cuala B and Ballyboden St. Endas C come face to face. Cuala registered a big win over Naomh Mearnog in Round 1. Boden were 4-13 to 2-06 winners over Commercials.
Commercials and Mearnogs face each other tomorrow night with time still to impact the qualifiers.
St. Annes and Ballinteer St. Johns C both sit on 4 points in the Group 1 table of the Junior 4 section. And tomorrow night they go head to head in what will be an interesting game. St. Annes also have a game in hand, as their Round 3 clash with Cuala C was postponed, so they hold the trump card.
Cuala head for Ballyboden St. Endas D tomorrow, and the ladies from Dalkey still have everything to play for sitting second on score difference. Neither Wild Geese or Beann Eadair have registered a win yet in the competition, so tomorrow’s game between the sides is an important one.
In Group 2, Round Towers head for Naomh Peregrine B tomorrow, with Towers currently sitting at the top of the table. Peregrines are 3 points behind with a game in hand so points against Towers would be an ideal result.
Na Fianna D and Erins Isle C are sitting at the bottom of the group and will both be aiming for a first win tomorrow. Lucan Sarsfield D are only a point behind Round Towers and will be hoping for a win over Faughs/Celtic C tomorrow. Fuaghs also have a spare game to play and that will be hopefully played off this Friday against Peregrines.
