Leinster Council make tough call on tomorrow’s Camogie Championship Games.

Leinster U16 Camogie Camogie Championship

Please note the following statement released from Leinster Camogie:

“In light of the Orange & Yellow weather warnings in place for Leinster tomorrow effective from 3.00am tonight, Leinster Council has taken the decision to postpone the Leinster Under 16 Fixtures scheduled for tomorrow Sunday, March 18th in the interest of health and safety especially in regards to travel for all teams and referees.”

Dublin’s U16A and U16B panels were scheduled to be in action, with the A Panel playing Wexford in Naomh Eanna in Gorey, and the B Panel entertaining Westmeath in Parnells. Obviously this decision from Leinster Council means these games will not go ahead for the safety of players, officials, and of course spectators.

The fixtures will now be rescheduled for the next available and suitable date. once we received confirmation from the Leinster Council or the Dublin Camogie County Executive, we’ll hare the details with you.

Please circulate this information to anyone you know who may be affected by these game cancellations.
