Littlewoods Ireland National Camogie League Division 2, Group 3, Round 1

Tipperary v Dublin

Sunday 9th of February

Venue: The Ragg

Throw-In: 2pm

Referee: Cathal McAllister

Manager Dave Dunning has named 10 debutants in his Dublin Intermediate team for tomorrow’s National Camogie League Division 2 opener against Tipperary in The Ragg.

The ten debutants are Dara Cooke, Emma Parker, Niamh Doherty, Ciara Griffin, Niamh Heffernan, Megan Benson, Aoife Heffernan, Aisling Andrews, Sadhbh Duffy and Aoife McKearney.

This years Dublin Intermediate squad may lack experience but certainly not talent and manager Dunning has stated they will be playing an attacking brand of Camogie and the side has plenty of potential.

They face a tough trip away in their opening league fixture against Tipperary in The Ragg which has been somewhat of a fortress for the team from the Premier County.

The weather will be another challenge for both sides tomorrow as Storm Ciara is set to bring strong winds and rain. But with only three league games in Group 3 of Division 2 getting off to a good start is vital.

If Dublin could secure the win tomorrow it will put them in a great position to make the latter stages of the competition and would certainly be a big confidence booster ahead of their next game away to Antrim.

The action is due to get underway in The Ragg at 2pm tomorrow and we will have LIVE UPDATES of all the action over on our Twitter account @wearedub
