Dublin U16 Camogie Manager Jonny Jackson in a black and grey top is seeking player nominations for upcoming trials

Since his appointment as Dublin U16 County Camogie Manager for 2019, Jonny Jackson and his Selectors have attended a large number of U16 club championship games in an effort to identify potential girls for the Dublin County squad for 2019.

To “kick start” this process the Dublin U16 Management team are organising a number of “invitation trial games” between a Northside selection verses a Southside selection.

Invited players to take part in these North verses South trial games will be contacted through their Club Camogie Secretary over the coming days.

After these initial trials, it is then proposed to extend the trial process with a series of further trial games for ALL nominated players and these trials will take place on the following dates that are outlined below.

U16 Trials for 2019 Campaign (Born 2003).

To show piece this blue ribbon initiative an invite series of games from a select Southside v Northside group of players will take place on:

Thursday 1st & 8th of November
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Venue: Abbotstown

Individual players selected will be notified through their club Secretary or club contact in the coming days.

All other players who are put forward by their club officials for Trial will be given an opportunity to attend sessions on Thursday the 15th of November with the Northside venue to be confirmed and also on Sunday the 4th and 11th of November in Thomas Davis GAA Club.

Any queries please do not hesitate to contact Team Communications Liaison Clare Rock @ u16dublincamogie2019@gmail.com

Clubs wishing to nominate players (Born 2003) should contact Clare Rock at        u16dublincamogie2019@gmail.com

Closing date for receipt of nominations will be this coming Friday the 19th of October 2018.

When nominating players for these trials, Clubs should only put forward those players whom they consider to be of a suitable standard for a County U16 team.
