Dublin Camogie had a record number of entries for the Club Volunteer of the Year Award which is testament to the fact that there many great people working hard within their own clubs.

It made Managements decision in picking an overall winner all that more difficult. After a lot of consideration Management decided that the 2016 Club Volunteer of the Year will go to Liz Baker from Good Counsel.

Liz continues to work tirelessly for her club and is involved in all aspects of the running of Good Counsel. Up until last year Liz was the main stay of the Dublin Juvenile section and the Management are delighted that she will now be officially honoured for her dedication to club/county over a 30 year period.

Liz will receive her award at a function to be held in Croke Park on Saturday the 4th of Febuary.

To all those that weren’t successful this time, the Management would like to recognise their dedication and commitment to their respective clubs.
