Leinster U16 Camogie Championship

Live updates from this afternoon’s Leinster U16 Camogie action between Dublin and Kilkenny

Dublin v Kilkenny
Sunday, April 7th. 2:30pm
O’Toole Park, Crumlin

This afternoon sees the current top 2 sides in the Leinster U16 Championship face off. Kilkenny come to Dublin for a must see game. Dublin’s U16’s got off to a roaring start against Offaly two weeks ago. The girls in blue put in the best performance from a county side in a very long time. The attack from this team was inventive and clinical, and breathtaking to watch. Offaly never stood a chance under immense pressure and Dublin will be hoping to maintain that momentum today against a tough challenge from Kilkenny.

Kilkenny got their campaign off to a great start with a 4-20 to 0-06 victory over Wexford in Round 1 and will be looking to add to that today. But Dublin will have other ideas.

Despite easily dispatching Offaly by 3-16 to 0-04 in their first round fixture with an exciting and inventive brand of Hurling, there are a number of personnel changes to the Dublin team that started that game.

Into the side come Laura Grendon, Robyn Buckley, Millie Reid, Lucy Quinn, Annabelle Timothy, Ellie Kane and Emma Diamond.

Dropping to the bench are Eabha Mooney, Ellie Doran, Niamh Crowley, Roisin Ni Chathasaigh, Ellie O’Connor, Ellie O’Ceallaigh and Ashling O’Neill.
