Dublin Senior Camogie panel start their Leinster Championship journey against Kilkenny

Leinster Senior Camogie Championship

Dublin v Kilkenny
Saturday, May 11th. 3:00pm
O’Toole Park, Dublin

A fresh challenge awaits Dublin’s Senior Camogie Panel this afternoon as the provincial door swings open. The league campaign is well in the past and new Dublin manager Frank Browne takes the reigns again. They’ll face a team that they’re familiar with in Kilkenny, but this time there’s much more at stake. Back at the beginning of the year the girls in blue proved for most of that league encounter that they’re well up for any challenge. It was only in the close of the game that Kilkenny’s experience shone through.

For Dublin, they’ll be much less ring rusty as they head for O’Toole Park. Should the get past Kilkenny, they’ll face either Meath or Westmeath in the Semi Finals. But the Dublin manager and his backroom team won’t look anywhere past today.

There’s a very strong panel of players at the managers disposal, and great combination of young raw talent and experience. Some we’ve already witnessed during the National League. But it’s a new chapter in this Dublin sides history.
