Ten big games tomorrow in the knockout phases of the We Are Dublin GAA Junior Camogie Championships
Sunday, October 21st 2018
Yesterday we gave you the details of two Championship finals that are taking place in St. Peregrines tomorrow afternoon. The Senior 1 Camogie Championship will throw in at 3:30pm. And that game is preceded by the Junior 2 Championship Final at 1:30pm. But we mustn’t forget there are another ten games taking place around the county. There are Championship Semi Finals in the Junior 1, Junior 3 and Junior 4 Championships. And also we’ll have a Shield Final in Junior 2, and Shield Semi Finals in Junior 3 and Junior 4.
Junior 1 Camogie Championships
Championship Semi Finals
Ballinteer St. Johns v Kilmacud Crokes B (12:30pm, Ballinteer)
Crumlin v Whitehall Colmcille (12:30pm, Crumlin)
Group 1 winners Ballinteer St. Johns get home advantage as they welcome Kilmacud Crokes B for the first of two semi finals tomorrow. Crokes only dropped points to Crumlin in Group 2 to finish runner up and they’ll be confident going into tomorrow’s game.
Whitehall Colmcille travel to Crumlin for the second of the Junior 1 Semi Finals. They lost to Ballinteer in their opening game but bounced back to comfortably beat Erins Isle and Naomh Maur to secure their Semi Final lot. Crumlin played four and won four, and will be tough to beat. But as we’ve seen in recent weeks, all bets are off when we get to the knockout stages of a competition.
Both games have a throw in time of 12:30pm
Junior 2 Camogie Championships
Shield Final
Lucan Sarsfields C v Na Fianna C
Both Lucan and Na Fianna have the chance to finish their year off with pride as they contest the Junior 2 Shield Final in Lucan tomorrow morning. Throw in is 10:30am.
