A great start in the Junior 1 Camogie Championship for Thomas Davis, Naomh Jude B, Crumlin and Fingallians.

Thomas Davis travelled to Faughs/Celtic B for their opener and came away with the point with a 3 point win. And Naomh Jude B recorded a 10 point win over Raheny B on a 3-14 to 2-07 scoreline. It gives Judes a point difference advantage over Thomas Davis, but it’s early days. And Thomas Davis and Judes lock horns next week time in Round 2, with Raheny and Faughs squaring off.

Three scores seperate Crumlin and Fingallians in Group B after the opening round. Crumlin were 2-11 to 1-02 winners over Erins Isle B. There was a three goal cushion for Fingallians in their 5-09 to 3-09 victory over Naomh Barrog. We have to wait for the final round before Crumlin and Fingallians face each other. Next week they’ll square off against Naomh Barrog and Erins Isle respectively.
