in a repeat of this year’s Leinster Senior Camogie Final, Dublin will once again do battle with Kilkenny with the stakes a little higher this afternoon at Dubli, sn GAA Headquarters in Parnell Park. The Girls in Blue had gone from a relegation in the top flight to almost causing an upset in teh provincial competition, so they’ll see today as an opportunity to get back on track.
Following the Leinster decider Dublin started off their Glen Dimplex campaign with a heavy and disappointing defeat against Tipperary at the Ragg. A defeat today would end their hopes of returning to the quarter-final stages, where the Cats ended their journey last year.
Kilkenny looked to be getting the defence of their title off to the perfect start when leading by ten points early in the second half against Wexford but in the end had to settle for a draw so will be anxious to record victory here ahead of their concluding tie with Tipperary.
