The Dublin U16A and U16B squads are tantalisingly close to the final.
The Dublin U16A and U16B Camogie squads are within touching distance of their respective All Ireland Finals.
Standing in their way this afternoon are their counterparts from Galway and all four squads will battle it out for that coveted final spot in Coralstown GAA club in Kinnegad.
First up will be the U16B’s, both sides finished their groups unbeaten, Dublin recorded wins over Clare and Kilkenny and drew with Cork.
Galway played a game less with only three teams in their group but won both of those games against Tipperary and Wexford.
Both sides are capable of put up big scorelines so it could be a high scoring encounter. The action gets underway at 2pm.
Then at 4pm the U16A teams from Dublin and Galway will cross hurls with a fierce battle expected between two excellent sides.
Dublin finished second in their group, an opening day win over Clare was followed by a loss to Cork, but an excellent win over Kilkenny secured their semi final spot.
It also has to be noted that Dublin only had one home group game and that was the final group game against Kilkenny.
Galway had the luxury of two of their three group games at home and they finished top of group 1 with three wins from three against Tipperary, Wexford and Limerick.
Although Galway racked up huge scores in their group games how good the quality of the opponents they faced would need to be questioned and may give a less than clear picture to how good the Tribeswomen are.
That makes it an intriguing game today and one that should be close enough at the finish.
Whatever happens today in both games the Dublin U16A and U16B squads have certainly shown the future is bright for Camogie in the Capital.
Both the Dublin U16A and U16B squads are listed below.
