Tomorrow’s All Ireland Camogie quarter final will be the second meeting between Dublin and Kilkenny this championship season

The Dublin Senior team has been announced for their Glen Dimplex All Ireland Camogie quarter final against Kilkenny tomorrow in Semple Stadium.
There is just one change to the side which started the win over Wexford two weeks ago with Cliodhna Nicoletti coming into the side in place of Issy Davis.
Tomorrow’s encounter between Dublin and Kilkenny will be the second meeting of the sides in this years championship.
They last met on the 14th of May in the Leinster Final in O’Moore Park in Portlaoise. After an even opening ten minutes to that game Kilkenny took control of the final and scored three first half goals to build up a ten point lead at the break with the score 3-07 to 0-06.
Although eventually losing the final by 5-11 to 0-12, Dublin were much more competitive in the second half which gave them something to build on in the All Ireland season.
And build on it they did, losing just one of their five group games which was against group winners Cork who were made to work very hard for the win with Dublin leading by four points early in the second half.
Dublin finished third highest scorers in the group and only Cork had a better defensive record than Adrian O’Sullivan’s side.
Kilkenny will go into tomorrow’s quarter final as favourites, but the Dublin players know they didn’t perform to the best of their ability in the Leinster final against Kilkenny and if they have the learned the lessons from that game, then with a point to prove they have the quality to pull off an upset in Semple Stadium against one of the favourites for the All Ireland title.
The action gets underway in Semple Stadium tomorrow evening at 5.30pm and we will have LIVE UPDATES of all the action over on our Twitter feed @wearedub and half-time and full-time scores on our Facebook and Instagram accounts.
