Sunday’s Leinster Minor A Championship game against Wexford will be the first competitive outing of 2023 for the Dublin Minor Camogie team
New Dublin Minor Camogie manager Ashling Kennedy has named her first team of the season for this Sunday’s Leinster Minor A Championship semi-final against Wexford.
There are representatives from nine different clubs in the starting fifteen and players from a further six Dublin clubs among the list of substitutes which is a testament to the extensive trial process undertaken to unearth the best talent at minor level in the county.
Looking ahead to the weekends game as far as predicting a winner is concerned, it would be nothing more than a pure guess considering it’s the first competitive action of the season for both teams and there is no form guide to formulate an educated prediction.
One thing is for sure though, it will be highly competitive if previous meetings at this grade over the last couple seasons is anything to go by.
Sundays game against Wexford takes place in TU Grangegorman Campus and referee Barry Nea from Westmeath will get the action underway at 2pm.
Admission to the game is ticket only and can be purchased at the following link: https://www.universe.com/events/leinster-provincial-under-18-championship-2023-dublin-v-wexford-a-tickets-PFCRSL
