After Opening Hom Game Against Cork Dublin Minors Face Three Away Games In A Row In 2020 All Ireland Championship
The Dublin Camogie Minor squad will kickstart their 2020 All Ireland Championship campaign at home to Cork on the 15th of February.
Cork claimed the 2019 All Ireland title back in April and will be determined to hold onto their crown in the new year.
It’s a tough opener for Dublin and not made any easier with the fact that for some reason the young girls in blue face three away games in a row following the opening game.
Dublin are drawn in Group 2 of the 2020 All Ireland Minor A Championship alongside Cork, Tipperary, Waterford, Laois and Wexford. Group 1 comprises Antrim, Offaly, Galway, Clare and Kilkenny.
After the opening game at home with Cork the Dublin Minors travel to play Waterford on the 29th of February, then it’s away to Laois on the 7th of March and away to Tipperary on the 21st of March. Dublin’s final group game is at home to Wexford on March the 28th.
The 2020 All Ireland Minor A semi-finals are pencilled in for the 11th of April with the final taking place two weeks later on the 25th of April.
The Dublin minors will be under new manager John O’Connell from Lucan Sarsfields who was part of the Senior backroom team in 2019.
Joining John on the management team are Donal Ryan (St Patricks Palmerstown), Helen Cosgrave (St Jude’s), Sandra Tarr (Na Fianna) and Antonio Sejean (Lucan Sarsfields).
