A round up of all this week’s Dublin Inter County Results
Week Ending Sunday, June 10th 2018
Yet another busy week with wins in three of the four inter county games we brought you details of at the beginning of the week.
Bord Gais Energy Leinster U21 Hurling Championship
On Wednesday, Dublin’s U21 Hurlers were the victors over Carlow in the Leinster Championship, setting up a Quarter Final fixture with Westmeath in Mullingar this Wednesday.
Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Championship
Yesterday, the Dublin Senior Camogie panel got their Liberty Insurance Camogie Championship off to a flying start with a Round 1 win over Offaly in Parnell Park. David Herity’s team dominated the 60 plus minutes and will be living for the Round 2 road trip to face champions Cork in a couple of week’s time.
Leinster GAA Senior Hurling Championship
Pat Gilroy’s Senior Hurlers once again put in a huge performance, this time against the reigning All Ireland Champions Galway in their own back yard. But just like their games this year against Kilkenny and Wexford, the Dub’s agonisingly fell short with Galway winning the tie by the minimum.
Leinster GAA Senior Football Championship
And onto this afternoon, and it was another successful visit to GAA Headquarters where Jim Gavin’s Senior Footballers made easy work of Longford in the Leinster Football Semi Final. It was also an opportunity to welcome back both Jack McCaffrey and Cian O’Sullivan from injury. The Dubs now face Laois in this year’s Leinster Final on June 24th.
Another week over, and the sun is still shining in Dublin.
