Weekly Inter County Fixtures

Sunday March 12th 2023
Kilkenny v Dublin
Allianz National Hurling League Division 1
UPMC Nowlan Park, Kilkenny. 1:45pm

One draw, one win and one loss so far for Micheál O’Donoghue’s Senior Hurling panel in very competitive Division1 campaign in the National Hurling League. And this weekend they travel to the famous Nowlan Park for a stiff test against Kilkenny.

Only a point seperating the sides in the Group B Table with Kilkenny having the slight edge, this could be a really competitive game and a great opportunity for the Dublin manager to see where his panel are at in his first year in charge.

Kilkenny have secured wins over Antrim and Laois, losing to Tipperary in the seond round of the competition. Dublin drew their opener against Waterford, and saw off Antrim in Round. But like Kilkenny they were beaten by Tipperary in theor last outing. With Kilkenny and Laois remaining they’ll want to finish positively before launching themselves into the Championship.

Dublin v Cork
All Ireland Minor A Camogie Championship
TU Dublin, Grangegorman. 2:00pm

No rest for the wicked as they say. And Dublin’s Minor Camogie Panel must dust themselves off after the past weekend’s Leinster Minor Championship Final. A 3-15 to 1-12 scoreline saw Kilkenny beat the girls in blue to become provincial champions. But the Dublin panel can take a huge amount of positives as the quick turnaround sees them begin their All Ireland journey this weekend.

That start on Sunday with the first of 5 round games. The girls will be at home for 3 of those games finishing the last 2 on the road. First up for Dublin this weekend is a home tie at TU Grangegorman where they’ll face Cork. Their next two fixtures will also be at home to Tipperary and Galway before traveling to Waterford, and finishing the rounds against this past weekend’s opponents Kilkenny.

We’ll be on the sidelines this Sunday in Grangegorman to bring you all the action.

Laois v Dublin
Leinster U16A Camogie Championship. Round 2
Colt GAA Club, Raheen. 2:00pm

Folowing on from their opening round 2-10 to 1-05 defeat to Wexford, Rachel Rogers will take her U16A Camogie panel on teh road to Raheen on Sunday for a Round 2 clash with Laois.

Despite losing that opener, Dublin showed massive amounts of intent and can be confident in their ability going into this weekend’s game. They’ll welcome Offaly to the capital on teh 26th before finishing their round robin competition on April 23rd with an away trip to Kilkenny. Hopefully by then to have booked a spot in the Championship Final.
