County Board meeting on Monday, 12th September in Parnell Park at the usual times 7pm for the Minor Board and 7.45pm for County Board.

Dublin Club Championships:

The club championship time is most exciting time of the year for Dublin players. Round 2 takes place on Tuesday the 30th of August and Thursday the 1st of September while the juveniles championships continue on the 3rd and 4th of September- under 14/under 16 on Saturday – under 13/under 15 on Sunday. Check website and Facebook for details of fixtures results etc.

Kilmacud All Ireland Camogie Sevens:

The 43rd Kilmacud Crokes All Ireland Camogie Sevens takes place on Saturday 10th September. This is a great event and well worth attending. Dublin clubs wishing to take part should contact Gerry McGough immediately at 087-7985249 or email gerrymcgough@gmail.com

Intercounty Scene:

The last game of the season for Dublin ended with a one score 1-10 to 2-10 loss to Kilkenny in Carlow in the Leinster Minor A Shield final. Best of luck to our fellow Leinster county teams in next month’s Camogie All Ireland finals – Carlow in the Premier Junior and Kilkenny in the Intermediate and Senior.

Under 14 National Blitz:

40 teams will take part in this year’s National under 14 Blitz on Saturday 10 September, eve of the All Ireland, at various Dublin venues through the city. Best of luck to all participating teams.

Under 12 School Of Excellence:

Reminder that this year’s U-12 School of Excellence will take place in the Phoenix Park between Friday the 2nd of September and Friday the 30th of September. (5 sessions).

Nomination form must be completed for each individual girl. The County Board will NOT accept a list of girls’ names only as we need to have very specific details relating to each girl. In addition the County Board will not be able to accept a girl just turning up on the night without having first, completed a nomination form in advance. This is a child protection issue which must strictly be adhered to.

Because of the likely high numbers attending we are changing the structure this year and will run two sessions each Friday (6pm to 7pm & 7pm to 8pm). Closing date for receipt of nominations was Friday 26th Aug.
