Intercounty Under 16 All-Ireland Championship:

The under 16A team put up a gutsy performance before going down by 0-10 to 0-03 against Kilkenny in Naomh Mearnóg on Sunday. The team remains on track to claim a semi final place in the championship.

Many thanks to Naomh Mearnóg for the use of their venue. The under 16B team plays host to Westmeath in their last must win group game next Sunday.

Best Wishes For A Speedy Recovery:

Best wishes to Dublin Senior goalkeeper Síle nic Coitir of Ballyboden St Endas who suffered a cruciate knee injury against Derry.

Juvenile “Summer Cup”:

Adult 7-A-Side Summer Cup:

Round three of this competition is on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Another 39 games are scheduled for what is proving a popular innovation to the calendar. Check www.dublincamogie.ie for all the fixtures and results.

Bereavement:

The Board extends its deepest sympathy to former County and National official Máire Uí Scolaí on the recent death of her mother Gertie McGuirk.

Kilmacud Crokes 7s:

The Glenalbyn club is holding its annual 7 a side competition on Saturday 10th Sept, on the eve of the Camogie All Ireland Finals. This event has been running for 42 years and continues to be as popular as it was in year one.

Clubs wishing to enter this competition should check the website or if further details are required then please contact Gerry McGough on 087 798 5249.

The County Board will not schedule any adult games on this weekend so that clubs are free to enter the Crokes 7’s.

Rising Stars Camogie Camp:

This 3 day Summer Camp for 8 to 12 year olds takes place again this year at GAA Centre of Excellence, Abbotstown.
Date: 25th to 27th of July. A full house is reported.

Fixtures Review Committee:

The Camogie Association has established a Fixtures Review Committee to review the current inter county fixtures programme.

The purpose of the review is to make recommendations to build a platform on which Camogie will grow, whilst promoting the game by providing a strong fixtures structure.
