Under 12 School Of Excellence:

The final session for the under 12 School of Excellence takes place this coming Saturday. Venue TBC. Well done to all involved in this brilliant venture.

Under 16 Trials:

Well done to everyone involved in the trials for the under 16s over the last 3 weeks. Squad has now been confirmed and will be announced later today. Please check website for details.

Minor Championship Finals:

The Minor finals will take place this coming Sunday. Ballyboden St. Endas await the winners of group 2 in the Minor A final. Minor B Final Na Fianna v Crokes, Minor C Shield Naomh Naomh Mearnog v Erins Isle, Minor D Final Whitehall Colmcilles v winners of group 2. Venues TBC.

Annual Convention 2016:

This year’s convention will take place on Monday the 5th of December in Parnell Park. Registration at 7pm. Relevant details, nomination papers etc. have been sent to clubs. Please return nominations, proposals etc. in time. If you are nominating someone for a position on the Executive Committee please check that they are willing to serve on the Executive Committee before submitting nominations.

2017 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Camogie Championships:

Dublin Seniors will begin their 2017 Championship with a home match against Clare on Saturday the 10th of June while the Premier Junior team will travel to Waterford for their opening game on the 1st of July.

Senior Camogie Championship:

Group 1: Clare, Dublin, Galway, Kilkenny and Waterford.

Group 2: Cork, Offaly, Limerick, Tipperary and Wexford.

Premier Junior Camogie Championship:

Group 1: Dublin, Offaly, Waterford, Westmeath and Wicklow

Group 2: Armagh, Clare, Kerry and Roscommon

Camogie Association Grant – Battle Of The Schools:

This is a good opportunity for clubs to get some schools camogie activity going over the winter months and recruit girls for 2017. Check camogie.ie for further details.

Camogie Association Seeks Commercial Manager:

The Camogie Association is currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager. This is a new post in the context of implementing the new National Development Plan Our Sport Our Future. Check www.camogie.ie for Role and Candidate Briefing Document. Closing date for applications is the 9th of December 2016.

GAA Games Development Conference:

Recently appointed Dublin Senior Camogie manager David Herity will be the Camogie Association’s guest speaker at the GAA Games Development Conference. The All-Ireland winning Kilkenny goal keeper will speak on ‘Catering for mixed abilities in a games based approach to training’. The 2017 Conference will take place in Croke Park on Friday January the 6th and Saturday January the 7th 2017.
