Ex Dublin/Clare Camogie Legend Hosting Match In Aid Of Charity To Celebrate Her 50th Birthday
Noelle Comyn is a well known personality in the world of Camogie having represented both Clare and Dublin at inter county level.
To celebrate her 50th birthday tomorrow Noelle is holding a challenge game to raise much needed money for some worthy charities.
The evergreen Noelle is still playing Camogie and lined out recently for her club Commercials in the Dublin Camogie club championship.
The game tomorrow will be a Dublin selection against a Best Of The Rest Selection and the teams will be a mixture of female and male players.
There will be some very famous sporting names on both teams and not just from the world of camogie and hurling but also from the world of boxing.
The Dublin selection will be captained by ex Dublin hurling legend Dotsy O’Callaghan and there will be other surprise guests along on the day for what promises to be a fun occasion.
The game takes place in the Holy Family Community School pitch, Kilteel Road, Rathcoole with the action getting underway at 1pm.
All are welcome to come along for a fun day out and we will be there ourselves as MC’s for the day and FM104’s mister sport himself Declan Drake will be using his velvet voice to provide match commentary.
