Neil Daly’s charges turned on the charm 2 weeks ago in Round Towers with concise and comprehensive victory over Wexford. That 2-18 to 1-04 win pretty much had everything. The U16’s showed a level of Camogie that would have impressed even the biggest doubters. Today brings a completely different challenge and will give the Dublin manager and the county board a good indication where exactly these girls are.
Try as we might have, we could find no fault in this Dublin panel the last time out from Goalkeeper to the full forward line. The skill and game intelligence displayed by a team of this age group was a joy to behold.
Kilkenny come into this game off the back of their own 6-11 to 1-04 win over Wexford last weekend. So today promises to be a tough but very enjoyable encounter in Callan.
