Dublin’s Senior Camogie Panel Go In Search Of A Home Win This Evening In The All Ireland Championship
Dublin v Cork
All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship
Saturday, June 4th. 5:00pm
St. Peregrines GAA, Dublin
After a win and a draw so far in this year’s Glen Dimplex All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship, Adrian O’Sullivan will take on a massive task this evening. As unbeaten Cork arrive in Dublin, their job will be to stop the rebels in their tracks and claim the top spot in the Championship table.
Dublin, Cork and Tipperary are the only unbeaten teams after the opening 2 rounds, with Dublin just 2 points behind Cork. A win this evening would put O’Sullivan’s charges in an incredible position before heading for Clare in 2 weeks time.
The Camogie Association have named Round 3 of this year’s Championship “Pride Round” where the inclusivity will be promoted to make the wider camogie family feel welcome, safe, included and celebrated. Dublin so far have played with Pride, and have proven they are strong contenders.
Having already beaten Waterford in Round 1, Dublin were disappointed to only come away from their Round 2 clash with Tipperary with a draw. Any positive result against a fancied Cork side tonight will be a welcome boost for their Championship hopes. The Dubs have the knockout stages in their cross hairs.
