Live Updates - Dublin v Waterford

Dublin v Waterford
Saturday, July 24th. 5:00pm
Parnell Park, Dublin

Dublin GAA Headquarters will be the destiantion for the second time today for competitive action. And after the Dublin Minor Footballers booked their Leinster Final slot, the focus turns to Camogie Championship action. Dublin have a massive challenge in the form of Waterford. And we’ll have live updates throughout the evening bringing you the latest.

Dublin and Waterford have already gone toe to toe this year. Back in mid June the sides played out an exciting hour of action with Dublin securing their National League Division 1 safety with the game ending in a selnder 1-11 to 1-10 win for Adrian O’Sullivan’s charges.

The stakes are as high this evening for both sides. Dublin travelled to Pairc Ui Rinn in their opener and left with a 2-19 to 0-12 defeat to Cork. Waterford scraped through their opener with a 0-16 to 0-15 over Down in Walsh Park.

Dublin will need 2 strong performances, both today and in their final round game against Down to keep their Championship hopes alive. Another loss today would pile more pressure on Dublin to come away from their Down fixture with a win to avoid a dreaded relagation play off. But it’s championship, it’s home advantage, and the girls will have learned a huge amount from their performance against Cork.
