Minor Camogie - All Ireland Championship

Dublin’s Minor Camogie Panel start their All Ireland journey this afternoon

Dublin v Wexford
Saturday, February 23rd. 2:00pm
Parnells GAA, Dublin

Dublin Minor Camogie Manager Willie Braine has named his first competitive team of 2019. And this afternoon they’ll be put to their first test as they welcome Wexford for the opening round of this year’s All Ireland Minor Camogie Championship.

Dublin are in group 2 in the championship with this afternoon’s opponents, as well as Cork, Galway and Tipperary. And with away trips to Tipperary and Cork, and a home tie against Galway sandwiched in between, starting on a positive note with a victory against Wexford would put the Dublin team in a good starting position for what will be a highly competitive group.

Over the years games between Dublin and Wexford at this level have been tight affairs with little between the teams – and we’d expect this afternoon’s game will be no exception. There’s plenty of excitement and anticipation for this fixture with a chance for all to get a first look at the new Dublin panel. Willie Braine has gathered a very talented group of players together full of seriously good hurlers. We’re really looking forward to this one.
