PAINT THE TOWN BLUE TO CHEER ON THE GENIAL JACKIES.
THE call has come to break the Croke Park sound barrier.
Officials want to see Dubs of all ages join the blue river on the way to Croke Park on Sunday week.
Show your appreciation for the Jackies is the cry as the Dubs prepare to tackle Cork in the TG4 All-Ireland Football final.
The teams last met in the final in 2009. Cork won it by a point.
The Leeside legends used all their vast experience to close out the game.
On this occasion, Dublin’s 16th player could make all the difference.
County Board officials want the county to turn up the volume and support the girls in blue.
They are asking ladies football folk to raise the awareness of the team by encouraging their fellow GAA club members to attend the match.
They want to see the social media used to its full advantage. And they’d love to see banners and posters decorating the streets, schools and work-places.
Bringing banners to the game would also act as a spur to the team.
Gregory’s Girls are the last team standing in the capital. And with the Jackies army marching at full strength, they have every chance of winning their second All-Ireland title.(The Herald)
