DUBLIN LGFA WEEKLY NOTES

Congratulations to all three of our New Ireland Assurance County champions on their victories over the weekend in the Leinster Club Championship. In the senior quarter final Foxrock Cabinteely overcame St Ultans of Meath on a score line of 7-17 to 0-06. Intermediate champions Clanna Gael Fontenoy had a narrow one point win over St Marys of Rochfortbridge final score 3-05 to 2-07. In the junior quarter final St Maurs had a comfortable 3-14 to 1-08 win over Ballyroan from Laois.

The semi-finals of the Intermediate and Junior Leinster club championships will take place this coming Sunday October 9th. Clanna Gael Fontenoy and St Maurs will both face opponents from Longford. Clanna Gael Fontenoy will play Killoe while St Maurs will take on Carrickedmond details on venues / times etc. to be issued by Leinster Council in due course.

Foxrock Cabinteely will face Laois champions Sarsfields in the senior Leinster semi-final which is pencilled down for Sunday October 16th.

The next meeting of the Dublin LGFA County committee will take place on Tuesday the 18th of October items for inclusion on the agenda must be with County Secretary Mary O’Connor by close of business on Monday October 10th.
