DUBLIN LGFA WEEKLY NOTES.

TESCO Home-grown NFL 2015:
The opening round of the TESCO Homegrown NFL gets underway this coming weekend. Dublin opposition on Sunday (Feb 1st) will be Ulster side Monaghan proceedings get underway at 2pm in DCU.

Lyndsey Davey from Skerries Harps has been announced as the senior captain for 2015, everyone involved in Dublin LGFA would like to wish Lyndsey, Greg along with his management team and the entire panel of players all the very best luck for the season ahead.

A big thank you to Sinead Goldrick from Foxrock Cabinteely who captained the side for the last two years, Sinead was a wonderful leader, ambassador and captain for Dublin both on and off the field of play.

February County Board Meetings:
Two County Board Meetings will take place in February as we make preparations for the 2015 playing season. Please make a note of the dates February 10th and 17th at 7.30pm in Parnell Park it is vital that ALL clubs who have affiliated to Dublin LGFA in 2015 have a representative in attendance.

Note: Club affiliations are now due to be returned to the office in Le Cheile by Jan 31st.

Development Update:
Well done to our all our referees who took part in our GYW Level 2 courses held last week and well done to the 30 club coaches who took part in the Fundamentals Coaching Course on Saturday last in Fingallians. Details of forthcoming Grab Your Whistle courses aimed at recruiting new referees plus additional Fundamentals coaching courses will be posted up shortly on our website and on our social media pages. www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie

Scór All Ireland Finals 2015:
Best wishes and good luck to all participants taking part in the Scór All Ireland Finals in the coming weeks. Scór na nÓg final will take place in Citywest Hotel on 14th February, 2015 while Scór Sinsear final will take place in the Citywest Hotel on 25th April, 2015.
