All Ireland U16 Final 2014.

Dublin U16’s had a epic semi-final battle on Sunday last versus a resilient Galway team.

Dublin despite being ahead for the majority of the game found themselves a point down as the contest moved into injury time .

Dublin’s heroine arrived in the guise of second half substitute Clara O’Sullivan from Naomh Olaf who in the 61st minute popped up to score the equalising point sending the game into extra time.

Clara who is the youngest member of the U16 panel showed great maturity and calmness to kick the equalising score much to the relief of her team mates and indeed manager, Ken Nyhan.

Dublin went on to win the match by 5 points and set up another All Ireland showdown with Munster and reigning All Ireland champions, Cork, on August 31st.
