KEANEY MAKES SHOCK RETURN TO DUBLIN HURLERS
The Leinster and League Hurling Champion returns to Dublin training.
It has been reported that Ballyboden St Enda’s star Conal Keaney has come out of retirement and is back training with Pat Gilroy’s Dublin hurlers ahead of their 2018 Allianz National league campaign.
Keaney, 35, retired from inter-county hurling in 2016 following Boden’s All-Ireland football success.
The Dublin legend played under Gilroy when he was in charge of the Dublin footballers.
He has won a National League medal and a Leinster title with the Senior Hurlers and will be hoping to add to this success as he returns to inter county action.
Dublin face Wexford in a Walsh Cup semi-final this weekend and open up their account in the league against Offaly at Croker on January 27th.
