HIGHLIGHTS – DUBLIN SENIOR ‘A’ HURLING QUARTER FINALS: KILMACUD CROKES v NA FIANNA

KILMACUD CROKES 0-17 NA FIANNA 0-15

A great opener to last weekend’s Parnell Park double header in this year’s Senior Hurling Championship. Beaten finalists of last year, Kilmacud Crokes, came from four points behind at half-time to book their spot in the Dublin SHC semi-finals following this hard-fought victory.

Na Fianna had led 0-11 to 0-07 at the break thanks to the dead ball accuracy of Colin Currie after leading by 0-06 to 0-00 inside the opening seven minutes.

The men from Mobhi Road held the lead until five minutes from the end of normal time when Kilmacud finally made a late snatch and grab.

Points from Ronan Hayes, Oisín O’Rorke and Fergal Whitely brought the sides level.

With two minutes remaining Ross O’Carroll edged Crokes in front before Ronan Hayes tagged on the insurance point.
