GAA CHAMPIONSHIP 2016 SUPER SCORES: WEEK 13

There would have been a mass of scores to choose from this past weekend with Tyrone, Mayo, Donegal and Dublin all flexing their muscles in the last of this year’s All Ireland Quarter Finals.

Dublin’s Philly McMahon, Diarmuid Connolly, Paddy Andrews and Kevin McManamon all feature in this collection of Super Scores along with Donegal’s Patrick McBrearty and Ryan McHugh, Mayo’s Aiden O’Shea and Colm Byrne, and Tyrone’s Mattie Donnelly and Peter Harte.

There were so many spectacular scores by Dublin on Saturday, the selection of just the four in this video must have been a difficult choice, but they are all simply outstanding for different reasons.

Connolly’s long range perfection from the 45 meter line was astonishing, as was Paddy Andrews’ from the narrowest of angles. Kevin McManamon’s second half score was, as Marty Morrissey describes it, “A Beauty!” And least we forget the bullet from the outside of Philly McMahon’s right boot from distance.
