Dublin Minor Footballers Crowned Leinster Champions
Full-Time in the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Campionship Final between Dublin and Kildare in Croke Park and Dublin have been crowned 2014 Leinster Minor Champions after dismissing Kildare on a scoreline of:
Dublin 3-16 Kildare 1-12
Dublin are the 2014 Leinster Minor Champions after beating Kildare with ease this afternoon in Croke Park.
Dublin did all the damage in the first half and controlled the tempo of the second thirty minutes playing at a nonchalant and at times pedestrian pace such was the paltry resistance provided from Kildare.
Dublin had the luxury of emptying their bench with some of the subs getting to experience playing in a Leinster Final on the big stage of Croke Park.
The final scoreline could have been even bigger in Dublin’s favour but for a fine save from the Kildare keeper midway through the half and also an effort late on came crashing back of the crossbar to save Kildare further embarrassment. -Nigel
