Plenty of Inter County fixtures this Bank Holiday Weekend
Week Ending Monday, May 7th 2018
The Bank Holiday Weekend means an extra day to squeeze in an extra game, and from Saturday we’ve got plenty of action for you in this week’s inter county fixtures.
Dublin’s U14 Ladies Football panel will be looking to lift the Leinster title this weekend as they face Meath in Clane GAA in this year’s final. Clane has been a lucky ground in the past for Dublin Ladies Football and hope fully this weekend will be no different. Throw in at Clane on Saturday is 3:45pm.
On Sunday both of Dublin’s U16 Camogie panels will make the trip to Rathleague in Portlaoise to take part in the Leinster Finals at their grade. The U16B will start at 1:00pm facing Carlow, and the U16A girls will be looking to get one over against Kilkenny at 2:45pm. Both Dublin panels have enjoyed the Round robin phase and will be hoping to bring home the silverware this Sunday.
Lastly on Sunday there’s a massive fixture down for Parnell Park at 4:00pm as the Dublin Senior Ladies Football panel will once again face Mayo, this time in the Lidl NFL Division 1 Final. The memory of last year’s huge All Ireland battle will come flooding back as Dublin look to clinch a much coveted National League title. If you’re heading along to this game be sure to get a ticket in advance as a big crowd is expected in Parnell Park.
And onto the Bank Holiday, and the start of this year’s men’s Leinster Minor Football Championship. Dublin will face Louth in Round 1, before facing Meath, Offaly, Wicklow and Westmeath between now and the beginning of July. Parnell Park will be the venue for the opening round and throw in on Monday is 3:00pm
And there you have it, plenty to get into this Bank Holiday weekend. Get out and show your support.
